Today’s Character Analysis is Haruna Saotome.  Enjoy!

Personality:

Haruna is the extremely nosy girl in class 3-A who could not keep her mouth shut if it was clampled, stapled, sewn, super glued, and dead.  She is a big yaoi lover, and sometimes writes her own.  As she is one of the worst gossip magnets ever, it’s no surprise that Yue and Nodoka kept the secret about magic from her.

Appearance:

Haruna has brown hair (kinda greenish in the anime), brown eyes, and a nice figure.  She also wears glasses and has these two wierd peices of hair that stick up in arches on top.  You’ll rarely find Haruna when she isn’t carrying around some juicy manga.

Relationships:

Haruna is best friends with Yue and Nodoka, who tend to keep things from her in an attempt at keeping things from everybody else in Japan.  She is often relentlessly pushing Nodoka further in her relationship with Negi, which isn’t always the best thing.  It is also notable that she was not in the least bit hesitant when she was faced with the issue of kissing Negi to form a pactio. Also, Haruna is an avid member of the Library Exploration club.

Special Powers/Abilities:

Haruna is an excellent manga artist, and even has a deadline of some sort on her work (will she be a famous mandaka in the future???)  It is assumed that she writes yaoi, as that is her favorite kind of manga.  The artifact that she got after making a pactio with Negi is a magical sketchbook that will turn anything drawn in it to reality.

Personality:

Ayaka is the snobby, rich girl in the class who is spoiled and tends to not take others’ emotions into consideration before saying hurtful things.  She can be a good person though, and helps Asuna out a lot, especially in the anime.  She loves quality and being pampered.

Appearance:

She is a pretty blond girl with green eyes.  She has pretty big breasts and is ranked at #8 in the entire class.

Relationships:

Ayaka has a humungo infatuation with Negi.  The anime Negima!? owes a lot of it’s hilariosity to Ayaka’s obsession, making shirts, and even teasets with his face on them.  She has known Asuna since she first came to their elementary school, and they have been rivals ever since, rarely making it through a class without some sort of argument.  She is also described though, as “Asuna’s Best Friend”.  She also shares a room with Chizuru, Natsumi, and Kotaro who she thinks is just downright annoying.

Special Powers/Abilities:

Ayaka is the leader of class 3-A and is usually just called “class rep”.  When Negi first comes to Mahora Ayaka displays her leadership skills by trying to help him adapt during his furst class.  She also is filthy rich, which is always an advantage to whoever is on her good side.

Ayaka was born on July 5, 1988.

She has 3 siblings, and one of them is dead.

Hi everybody!  First off, I would like to say that while the Character Analysises are probably one of the more important things I do on the site (because they are frequently accessed on the Character’s page which I would like to complete as fast as possible), they are also the ones I hate doing most.  xD  Funny how that works, isn’t it?

Today’s Character Analysis will be Nodoka Miyazaki.  Enjoy!

Personality:

At the beginning of the series, Nodoka is usually so shy she can’t even get up the courage to ask a question in class.  Throughout the series though, she lightens up a lot and as she starts becoming more upen, you start to actually see more and more of her face (her hair slowly get’s pushed out of the way).  Nodoka is also a very loving compassionate person, especially towards her ultimate luvvva, Negi.  She’s an extreme book lover too, which has gotten her the nickname Honya (translated to Bookshop, Bookworm, Bookstore, Librarian girl, etc.).

Appearance:

She has purple (dark blue in Negima!?) hair, which lies in front of her eyes earlier on in the series.   She’s average heighted, maybe even a little smaller, compared to the rest of her class.  Nodoka can sometimes be found wearing a pretty purple dress.

Relationships:

Okay, so Nodoka has like, one HUGE crush on Negi.  I wouldn’t even call it a crush anymore really, she’s actually in love with him.  She thinks about him constantly and really wants him bad, which is a problem, because her best friend Yue is also totally in love with him.  This stirs up some cold conflict between them, each pretending that they’re fine with the other’s feelings.  Nodoka actually got to kiss negi once though (only for making a pactio).  She also has a very good relationship with Haruna, her second best friend.

Special Powers:

Nodoka is exceptionally well read, having gone through probably most of Mahora Academy’s Library (not library island).  Therefore, when making a pactio with Negi, she recieved a very special book as her magical item.  With this book, she is able to look into the thoughts of others, though does not abuse this power very often. She can only use this item on people whom’s names wheknows, and as long as they’re close enough to her.  It is read like a childrens manga, and the details in it are pretty crappy, but this is still a dead useful tool.

Today’s character analysis is Chisame Hasegawa.  Enjoy!

Personality:

Chisame Hasegawa is the cranky skeptic of class 3-A.  She loves to sit on her computer and keep to herself.  She is kind deep down though, because she tries to help Negi during the Buduokai by “putting out some (internet) fires”.

Appearance:

When walking around in her “real life, she is a brunette (greenette in the 1st anime), dorky looking girl who clings to her laptop like a vital organ.  While being Chiu, net idol, she is a pretty(slutty) looking girl who wears some very… interesting outfits.

Relationships:

Chisame is famous around the net, having a not quite personal relationship with millions of guys around the globe.  Besides that, she doesn’t seem to have any REAL friends, claiming that the rest of the class are just a bunch of rejects.  Although she does seem to have a thing for negi, maybe.  She also kind of gets along with Chachamaru.

Special Powers:

Chisame’s artifact that she got from her pactio with Negi is a staff with a heart on it.  She is also a super awesome hacker, and website builder, not to mention the super sweet ability to turn herself into Chiu.

Random trivia:

They switched her hair color from red to green for the first anime, and then to brown for the 2nd anime, but pink when she turns into chiu.  (I think green suits her best)

Chisame was born on Feb. 2, 1989.
